I’m an artist and designer with a broad range of creative and technical skills. I specialize in user experience, visual design, and motion graphics. From video games to mobile apps, I have designed interactive experiences for millions of end users across numerous platforms. I'm a recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest where I enjoying getting lost in the woods with my wife, Karen.
At Carrot I provide interaction and visual design leadership for a novel new product in the health space. I focus on the design and development of the Pivot mobile application and assist with product and marketing.
In 2011 I helped launch Delicious Empire, a small team that specializes in motion graphics and interactive design.

As a contract resource for Perforce I provided visual design and UX leadership on several key products including Swarm and P4V.
At Myriad, I worked as both a UX and visual designer providing clean and user-friendly interfaces for an international mobile market. I regularly traveled abroad to worked side-by-side with Myriad’s engineers and Puma’s designers to create an exciting branded mobile experience for the Puma phone.
I was responsible for the visual design and UX of many of Openwave’s products including Richmail and Openwave's first mobile touch browser. I worked directly with the user experience team and collaborated with design and engineering resources both locally and internationally.
I oversaw a team of artists and worked closely with the engineering team in the development of mobile applications for major motion pictures studios, game companies, magazines, and news organizations. While with Mobile Greetings, I shipped over 25 Brew and numerous J2ME applications through various carriers including Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. I was also responsible for overseeing the creation of marketing materials and demo applications to assist the sales team in the acquisition of new business.
I consulted with Moxie Method's creative director and brand manager to produce interactive multimedia applications including rich media websites and marketing collateral.

At Blam I was responsible for creating and managing 2d and 3d game art and assets, brainstorming game designs, creating storyboards to pitch game ideas and concepts, maintaining the company website, providing logo treatments, and updating company print material. Published numerous web and mobile games as well as assisted in the development of console games for PlayStation and Nintendo 64.
I studied the industrial arts through SFSU's design program with a focus on interactive multimedia.
While at SFSU I was also a teacher's assistant instructing Flash and Photoshop labs as well as an interaction design instructor through the California Department of Vocational Rehab.
